These strange informative illustrations were scanned by blogger Bre Pettis from the book “Elektroschutz in 132 Bildern”. The book was written in 1931 by Austrian-British physician named Stefan Jellinek, specializing in accidents involving electricity.

Most illustration shows how to create an electric “bridge” between the power supply and the ground, which passes through the human body

That is what is killing the unfortunate hero of this book

Fortunately, such situations are much less likely to occur due to new safety requirements
