Today at 7-00 in Amsterdam, one of the local TV stations ran an unusual contest that will take three days. This is an attempt to set a new world record for the longest duration of viewing TV without interruption. The contest will be broadcast live on until Sunday, but who would be interested for hours to watch other people, watching television, it is not clear. According to organizers, the current record is 86 hours, 6 minutes and 41 seconds.

Several dozens of young Dutch people are going, almost without interruption for three days in a row to watch TV. In this case they are forbidden to sleep, eat. The only indulgence for the potential record-breakers – a five-minute break every hour.

The purity of the experiment, which takes place at the Institute for Sound and pictures,is that competition is broadcast in real time on one of the local channels.

The winner will receive a prize – a trip to Los Angeles.
