London Art Gallery, Tony made another unusual exhibit – or rather, the entire exhibition – all knitted room . The author of the project – Polish-born American artist Agata Olek. The room is all knitted – from the walls, the clock on the wall and floor-to-human figures sitting in the room.
The installation is called “I’m not going to become a mother, I’m going to die alone» («I do not expect to be a mother, but I do expect to die alone»). Particularly interesting is the fact that not only shows us carefully knitted furniture and objects, but also tells a story.
Everything is knitted-a favorite artist quotes, thoughts, and personal SMS and excerpts from e-mails of Agatha.
Installation can be studied long and thoughtful – Agatha says that she gave her all the experience gained when moving from Poland to New York and then in London.
